Channel tour

Visit Theatres is a unique initiative which promotes the possibilities of visiting the historical theatres of great-Britain, Belgium and the Netherlands as part of the so-called ‘Channel Tour’ of the European Route of Historical Theatres (ERHT)

The Visit Theatres project is coordinated by The Theatres Trust, the national advisory body for the protection of theatres in Great-Britain, and it supported by the Expertise Centre for Technical Theatre RITCS of the Erasmus University College in Brussels.

The project is part of the European Tour of Historical Theatres, a long-term project (2007-2017) financed by the Culture Programme of the European Union. The Association of Historical Theatres In Europe, PERSPECTIV, coordinates the project with as goal bringing together 12 tours of historical theatres throughout all of Europe.
